Good evening, my friend! How’re you doing?
If you were to describe your walk with God these past 5 months, how would it be? What is the Lord teaching you? Are there experiences that should not have been if you were more watchful? What is the Lord saying?
Jesus Therapy Seven will be going on a short break
Before the year's second half, the Jesus Therapy Seven goes on a short break in preparation for the next season. This break allows us to wait on the Lord, trusting Him to do deep work in the hearts of men through every piece He inspires.
Accordingly, this break begins next week and there’ll be no newsletters on Wednesdays. We thank you for your commitment to this newsletter which is but a seed sown in the hearts of men. In this season, we desire your prayers, and here is why:
***Replace “Jew” with “Christian” to get the perspective***
For you are not a true Jew just because you were born of Jewish parents or because you have gone through the ceremony of circumcision. No, a true Jew is one whose heart is right with God. And true circumcision is not merely obeying the letter of the law; rather, it is a change of heart produced by the Spirit. And a person with a changed heart seeks praise from God, not from people.
- Romans 2:28-29 NLT
You are not a true Jew if you are only a Jew in your physical body. True circumcision is not only on the outside of the body. A true Jew is one who is a Jew inside. True circumcision is done in the heart. It is done by the Spirit, not by the written law. And anyone who is circumcised in the heart by the Spirit gets praise from God, not from people.
- Romans 2:28-29 ERV
You are not a Jew if it’s only superficial—for it’s more than the surgical cut of a knife that makes you Jewish. But you are Jewish because of the inward act of spiritual circumcision—a radical change that lays bare your heart. It’s not by the principle of the written code, but by power of the Holy Spirit. For then your praise will not come from people, but from God himself!
- Romans 2:28-29 TPT
Outward Christianity is a dangerous place to be. Unfortunately, this is the case when there’s no conviction in a man’s heart. Christianity becomes a garb to be worn, not a life to be lived.
If you’ve silently longed to see a return of the early church Christianity, then let us join hands in prayers, trusting God for greater manifestations of His power in the lives of men.
Let us trust God to convict men and bring them to the foot of the cross.
Let us trust the Holy Ghost to compel men to forsake sin.
Let us trust Him for quality, godly lives that speak louder than an outward show of godliness.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Till we meet again,
God bless and keep you!
